Behind the curtain
I'm Alan W Szlosek Jr. The public school system molded me into a drummer. College made me a computer scientist. I grew up in central Florida and moved to Portland, Oregon in July 2009.
My life as a lover of marching percussion began in 1996 during my freshman year at Sebring High. I tried out for tenors and to my surprise, I made it. The next year I played snare, in eleventh grade I became drum captain and I continued to help out for two years after graduation.
Starting my junior year of high school I made a habit of re-writing our marching show music to match our drumline's skill level. We even played a few of my original cadences and drum solos.

What does Flam Swiss mean?
It's another name for a swiss army triplet.
